These tall plants reach 4 to 5.5 feet in height, producing a dazzling array of multicolored blooms in shades of pink, red, purple, yellow, lime, peach, orange, and white. The mix features a stunning variety of flower forms, including single, semi-double, fully double, and dahlia-flowered blossoms. Bred from the beloved Queeny, Benary’s Giant, Oklahoma, Lilliput, and Mazurkia zinnias, this stunning mix attracts pollinators while bringing beautiful color and dynamic texture to the garden.
Zinnias are extremely easy to grow (hello lazy, negligent, and new gardeners!). The flowers are 'cut-and-come-again'. That means the more flowers you cut, the more flowers that come, gifting you bountiful flowers all season long. These incredibly long-lasting blooms are perfect for both fresh bouquets and garden displays. With minimal care—just plenty of sunlight, occasional watering, and your admiration of them, and you will have fresh flowers for yourself and all your loved ones all season long. If you are indecisive or find yourself wanting to try all the zinnias, then this mix is perfect for you. It has so many wonderful different shapes, colors, and variations that will find yourself declaring new favorites every week!
Binomial Nomenclature: Zinnia elegans
Uses: Containers, fence lines, and cut gardens, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, cut flowers;
Plant Height: 4-5.5'
Hardiness Zone: Annual (not frost tolerant)
Sowing: Direct sow outdoors when soil averages 60 degrees
Light Requirements: Full Sun
Growing Conditions: Grows well in poor to average soil
Tips: Zinnias have a branching habit. 'Pinch' or 'top' the plants above the second or third set of true leaves, when the plant is about 8-12" tall. This will allow the plant to branch from the bottom, creating longer, studier stems and more flowers. Plant the tips of the plant you pinched or topped to create more plants! It's that easy.
What We Love: Everything! Easy to grow, easy to care for, endless blooms, long stems, incredible vase life, pollinator magnet, stunning colors and forms, versatile for bouquets and floral design, easy to harvest seeds, and so much more. Honestly, sometimes they steal the show when paired with fancier flowers like dahlias.
